Hosting

Costs to attendees are minimal

Member schools volunteer to host the day-long meeting, and provide food for the attendees. There are no membership fees to be involved in NYCHES, so costs to attendees are minimized to travel expenses. Cost containment, particularly in the face of constricting travel budgets for many schools, make a regional conference an attractive option for schools that can not afford to send many people to national conferences. If you'd like to host a NYCHES meeting at your institution send an email to NYCHES-OFFICERS@LISTSERV.ACM.ORG to speak with a member of the NYCHES board.
